My name is Samuele Bassan.
I am an Italian cinematographer based in Milan. I’m completing a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Arts while working in the independent film sector. I specialise in short-form narrative work, using experimental and pseudo-improvised visual aesthetics and techniques. To date I’ve shot two self-funded narrative films as well as a range of commissioned commercials and fashion films.

Beyond my work as a Director of Photography, I work in several technical roles across the camera department, including camera operation, 1st AC, Grip and Gaffer. I also work independently for private clients and brands as an all-round videomaker, handling preproduction, production, and postproduction.
